Zimmer Biomet Appoints New President and CEO
Today Zimmer Biomet announced the appointment of Bryan C. Hanson as the company’s president and CEO. Hanson was most recently a member of Medtronic’s executive committee and the executive vice president and president of Medtronic’s Minimally Invasive Therapies Group, heading up a $9 billion business.
Prior to Medtronic Hanson held several executive roles at Covidien, including group president of the company’s medical device business. He also serves on the board of AmeriCares.
Daniel Florin, who served as the Interim CEO since July 11 following the abrupt resignation of David Dvorak will continue serving as senior vice president and CFO
