Stryker Names New President and COO
Following this week’s announcement of the retirement of Stryker Corp.’s Group President, Orthopaedics, David K. Floyd (effective June 30, 2019), the company has decided to make some organizational changes. Effective August 1, the responsibility for all of the company’s operating businesses and regions will fall under Timothy J. Scannell, who will be appointed president and chief operating officer. Scannell currently serves as Stryker’s group president, MedSurg and Neurotechnology.
Stryker will also have two new Group Presidents: J. Andrew Pierce, who will serve over MedSurg and Spencer S. Stiles, who will serve over Instruments, Neurotechnology, and Spine.
