MEDICA 2018 Competition Seeks Apps Worldwide
Do you think you have the next award-winning app in the medtech space? App developers from around the world are encouraged to enter the 7th MEDICA App Competition. The program is open to apps for smart phones, smart watches, tablets or AR/VR glasses (fitness and wellness apps will not be accepted that provide a solution for daily use by patients, physicians and clinics. Entries will be accepted until September 30, 2018
Ten developers will be selected to participate during the live pitch at MEDICA 2018, and the final judging will take place during a session of the MEDICA Connected Healthcare Forum (Hall 15) on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. The contenders for the live event will be notified at the beginning of October. Each team will have three minutes to pitch their app, which will be followed by a two-minute Q&A. The first place winner will receive €2,000, the second place will take home €1,000 and third place will receive €500. Partners and sponsors will also donate non-cash prizes, including two tickets to the global technology event SXSW.
