Balwani, Former President of Theranos, Found Guilty on All 12 Fraud Counts
The former president and chief operating officer of Theranos, Ramesh ‘Sunny’ Balwani, has been found guilty on all 12 fraud counts, as reported in the Wall Street Journal. Balwani was charged with 10 counts of wire fraud and two counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud for misleading investors about the financial health of the healthcare startup. He faces up to 20 years in prison for each count.
